I love this recipe. It’s so simple and easy, it’s basically not a recipe at all. Ice cream is the ultimate sweet treat, but we don’t tend to buy it as nice ice cream can be expensive. This is an ideal alternative for evenings or weekends when you’re craving something sweet, and is so quick to make that it requires no effort at all. You can also eat it pretty guilt-free, so you can go as mad on toppings as you like.
Takes approximately 5 minutes. Serves one.
You will need:
- 1 frozen banana (broken up before freezing)
- 2 tbsp yogurt (greek yogurt is best)
You will also need a food processor or blender – something like a smoothie blender is fine.
Put the banana in the blender and leave for 2 minutes to soften slightly. Add the yogurt and blend until smooth.
Serve with toppings of your choice.
